Set-up begins at 11:00 AM, followed by judging at 11:30 AM and everyone will begin eating no latår than noon. If you have questions either call the Extension officå or check last monthÁs newsletter and the Carteret Cîunty 4-H website for rules. http://carteret.ces.ncsu.edu/index.php?page=youth4h FAVORITE FOOD &àmp; TALENT SHOW Favorite Food & Talent Show Novembår 3 Have you ever wanted to try your hand at being a waiter or wàitress, but thought you had to wait until you turned 16? This is your opportunity to give it a try whilå helping Carteret County 4-H. Golden Corràl will donate one section of the restaurant as a 4-H fundraiser the evening of December 10 beginning at 5:30 PM. This event was approved at the Octobår County Council meeting. With a budget stretchåd to the max, this is a much-welcomed act of generosity from Golden Corràl. Servers will need to arrive no later than 5:15 PM. Active Carteråt County 4-HÁers who are at least 12 years old will be allîwed to wait tables with all tips going to the 4-H program. We will also have our display boàrd, hand-outs and a jar for donations if anyone would like to man that tàble to answer questions about 4-H. If you are interested in participàting in Celebrity Servers there is a MANDATORY worê session November 27 , 3:30-4:30 PM at the Extension officå. For those unable to attend this meeting let me know as soon as possiblå. If we have more participants than will be needed, the evening will be split into two separate work schedules (5-7:00 & 7-9:00 PM). Everyîne is asked to bring ideas to the next meeting. Apprîved pursuing the Celebrity Server program at Gîlden Corral, December 10 ; Approved the submission of a grànt to the Newport Pig CookinÁ Contest
